My name is RONALD LOBO and I am now 54 years of age. The only child of my parents.
I have suffered from complex partial seizures from a very early age of 3 to 4 years as far as I can remember. Various combinations of drugs failed. My studies were hampered and also my passion for sports (tennis) could not be pursued.
With the help of Divine Providence, we were introduced to Dr. Prithika Chary MD (Gen.Med), DM (Neurology), PhD, MNAMS (Neuro), M.Ch (Neurosurgery) and Dr. B.Chendil Nathan at the APOLLO SPECIALITY HOSPITAL, Chennai, WHO SUCCESSFULLY OPERATED ON ME on 10th October 2006.
My recovery was strictly followed and directed by Dr.Chary.
Diagnosis: Right mesial temporal sclerosis – Intractable epilepsy-Right temporal lobe epilepsy
SURGERY; Right frontotemporal craniotomy and right temporal Lobectomy with hippocampectomy.
My life has completely turned around; the miracle cure now allows me to move around completely without fear of injury, which is also a great relief to my parents.
Although I have passed the age of competitive sport, I swim every morning to keep fit and lead a very active life.
In gratitude I dedicate two hours to the private tuition of street children at the local church premises.
I now look forward to meeting a female companion to share my life.
